Court Martial begins in Lackland sex scandal

Staff Sgt. Craig LeBlanc one of 20 training instructors implicated

A delayed court martial began Monday in connection with the ongoing Lackland sex scandal.

Staff Sgt. Craig LeBlanc, a former Basic Training instructor, is accused of sexually assaulting and pursuing a sexual relationship with one female trainee and having a wrongful sexual relationship with another.

His trial was postponed in October for further investigation.

He's one of 20 Basic Training instructors who've been implicated in allegations of sexual misconduct with trainees.

On Tuesday, another training instructor, Staff Sgt. Robert Hudson, faces an Article 32 hearing.
