A fast-moving fire torched a south Bexar County home on Sunday morning.
When county fire crews arrived in the 14600 block of Flatten Rd. just after 9 a.m., the fire had consumed the two-story house.

Firefighters said there was little they could do to save the home, so they immediately went into a defensive mode, trying to keep the flames from spreading.
"It was a two story structure," said Chief Rodney Schlather with the Harmony Volunteer Fire Department. "We have multiple units here to help us put out the flames."
Sheriff officials said initial 911 calls coming in Sunday morning were reporting that there was a woman trapped inside the burning house.
Firefighters said someone managed to rescue her before they arrived. An ambulance transported her to the hospital for observation.
Schlather said the home is a total loss and what caused the fire is still under investigation
"You couldn't even see the house," said April Dietz, a neighbor. "It was totally engulfed. It was awful. You couldn't see anything, but smoke and the trees and the fire."
