With its shelter full, San Antonio Pets Alive! is hoping to place 25 dogs and puppies in foster or forever homes by the end of the weekend.
The rescue group said the adoptable pets are on a euthanasia list.

SAPA! is hosting a Valentine's special adoption event Thursday, Feb. 14, through Sunday, Feb. 17. All dogs and puppies can be adopted for a $35 fee that includes spaying, neutering, vaccinations, microchips, 30 days of pet insurance and a bag of dog food.
"We always need fosters that have a medical background (nursing, EMT, etc.) who are capable of medicating and rehabilitating a sweet injured pet," the group's press release said.
