The City of San Antonio says portions of Broadway Street will be closed beginning at 9 pm Friday for gas main work.
According to the city, the work will last from 9 pm Friday through 5 am Monday, Feb. 25.

Traffic will be detoured up to North New Braunfels to avoid the closures. The city says signage will direct traffic along the detour.
Businesses in the area will be accessible from Perry Court and Davis Court. Broadway access to the University of the Incarnate Word will still be available, according to the city.
Hildebrand Avenue traffic will still be able to travel through the Broadway intersection.
