A border stop resulted in the seizure of $185,000 worth of methamphetamine hidden in a vehicle battery, officials with U.S. Customs and Border Protection said.
The seizure occurred Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Lincoln-Juarez Bridge.

According to a statement issued by CBP, officers found six bundles containing a total 12 pounds of methamphetamine hidden in the battery of a 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by a 20-year-old woman from Dallas.
The methamphetamine has a street value of $185,000.
CBP officers seized the alleged methamphetamines and arrested the woman. She was turned over to Homeland Security Investigations special agents for further investigation.
