Most wanted fugitive Joseph Daniel Krueger arrested in Blanco

Texas Mexican Mafia member wanted on parole violation

The Texas Department of Public Safety said 36-year-old Joseph Daniel Krueger, on Texas' 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list, has been captured.

Krueger was discovered at approximately 10 p.m. Monday hiding inside a vehicle outside of a Blanco residence and was taken into custody without incident.

He was in possession of a small amount of suspected heroin, DPS officials said.

Officials said the Texas Mexican Mafia gang member has a violent criminal past and was wanted for parole violation. Krueger has relatives and friends living in Blanco and San Antonio and he has never held a job.

His criminal history includes assault causing bodily injury, aggravated robbery, retaliation, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, prohibited weapons, evading arrest and delivery of a controlled substance/heroin.

 Texas Crime Stoppers, offers cash rewards to any person who provides information that leads to the arrest of one of the Texas 10 Most Wanted fugitives or sex offenders.

There are four different ways to provide anonymous tips:

*   Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).

 *   Text the letters DPS—followed by your tip—to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.

 *   Submit a web tip through the DPS website by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture.

 *   Submit a Facebook tip at http://www.facebook.com/texas10mostwanted by clicking the "SUBMIT A TIP" link (under the "About" section).
