Legendary comedian George Lopez brings his stand-up comedy act to San Antonio. He is one of the few Latinos to star in their own television show and he performs at the Majestic Theatre this weekend. The shows are Friday and Saturday night at 8:00 p.m. Click here for tickets.
Bring your pet to the San Antonio Pet Expo. It's a free event that features the star of Animal Planet's "Pit Boss", Shorty Rossi and his pit bull, Hercules. A couple of egg hunts take place this weekend. On Saturday, a massive egg hunt featurrd 17,000 eggs at Concordia Lutheran Church. That starts at 11:00 a.m. Also on Saturday is an egg hunt at St. Mark's United Methodist Church. It features arts and crafts, Easter songs and refreshments. That one starts at 10:00 a.m.
Who could forget HEB's Big League Weekend, bringing all the thrills of the major leagues to the Alamodome. The Texas Rangers take on the San Diego Padres, in two games, Friday at 7:05 p.m. and Saturday at 1:05 p.m. Park and Ride shuttles will be available. Click here for more details.
