Masked robbers target Pizza Hut, Valero

San Antonio police: Suspects take cash, no injuries reported

San Antonio police responded to separate robbery cases late Sunday night into Monday morning. Police said masked men stormed a Pizza Hut and a Valero.

The Pizza Hut robbery was reported at 10:20 p.m. at the San Pedro location.

Police said two men walked in with guns wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas over their faces.

They demanded cash from the employees and directed employees to open the safe, but they were unable to get it open.

The robbers grabbed what they could and fled on foot. Police said customers were inside the Pizza Hut during the robbery, but no injuries were reported.

A couple hours later, SAPD officers responded to another robbery around 1:30 a.m. at the Valero on Southwest Military Drive and Commercial.
