San Antonio fire crews rescue driver after 2-car crash

San Antonio Fire Department rescue crews had to cut a man out of his car after a crash on the southwest side Thursday night.

Police said a man in his 20s was traveling in his car on Huron at Vermont streets when he ran a stop sign and slammed into a passing truck.

The man in the car was taken to University Hospital with multiple injuries.

The driver of the truck was not injured and will not face charges, San Antonio police said.
