Police call for mandatory blood draw on driver who caused crash

A late night crash sent three people to the hospital, and police say alcohol might be involved.

Investigators ordered a mandatory blood draw on the driver they say cut in front of an SUV at I-35 and Zarzamora just before 11 p.m. Friday.

The vehicles collided and ended up in a parking lot.

Police say the driver of the SUV went to SAMMC in critical condition.

They say driver the of the car went to University Hospital for treatment and that mandatory blood draw.

A passenger in the car also was taken to University.
