1 stabbed, 1 arrested after argument between men drinking in southeast San Antonio

Victim rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries

SAN ANTONIO – A man was rushed to the hospital while another was arrested after a stabbing late Wednesday night in southeast San Antonio.

San Antonio police say the two were drinking in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 7400 block of Hanzi around 11:15 p.m..

That's when the pair began arguing for an unknown reason and moments later, one of the men pulled a knife.

As they were struggling, police say the man who originally pulled the weapon ended up being stabbed by the other man. 

The victim, a man in his 40s, was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The other man was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Police have not released the suspect's name.
