SAN ANTONIO – A San Antonio police officer was hospitalized early Saturday morning after his patrol car was rear-ended by a suspected DWI driver.
The officer had pulled another driver over around 3:40 a.m. on Interstate 10 East at Huebner when his patrol car was struck.

The driver at fault, a woman in her 20s, was arrested for driving while intoxicated. Police have not said if she would face other charges.
The officer was taken to University Hospital with minor injuries.
