SAN ANTONIO – A frightening wake up call for an elderly man after a car crashes into his bedroom early Sunday morning.
According to police, around 12:30 a.m. a 22 year old man ran a stop sign, jumped a curb, and crashed his car into the bedroom of a home in the 4400 block of Sun Vista.
An elderly man was inside that room sleeping at the time of the accident.
He was not injured.
Police believe alcohol may have played a role in the crash.
The driver was detained at the scene. No word on what charges he may face.
