Man injured during southwest side shooting

Police searching for whoever pullled trigger


SAN ANTONIO – Police are searching for whoever pulled the trigger during a shooting on the city's southwest side.

It happened Sunday at  1 a.m. outside a home in the 5900 block of Fairwood.

According to police, a woman was walking away from her boyfriend's house when she heard gunshots. 

She returned to the home and found him on the ground with gunshot wounds to his stomach.

He was taken to University Hospital in critical condition. 

The woman told police she saw a dark colored Dodge Durango leaving the scene.
