Car trapped after water main break in north San Antonio

Driver, passenger get out safe after water main break at Fresno and West Olmos

SAN ANTONIO – A car got stuck in some strong waters on the city's North Side early Thursday morning.

A water main broke around 3:30 a.m. at Fresno and West Olmos.

The driver was dropping somebody off in a parking lot when his car fell into a hole, officials said.

The driver and passenger managed to escape. A tow truck was able to get the car out and crews began repairing the water main.
