Cause of fire on Edison Drive unknown

When crews arrived they found smoke and flames pouring from the front porch area.

Fire fighters found the woman asleep inside and woke her up before getting her to safety.

The woman initially told fire crews she thought one of her friends was still inside, but no one else was found.

The arson unit was called to investigate because a can was found on the front porch. However, it is unclear if the can contributed to the fire.

Damage estimates were unknown early Thursday.
