Two injured when woman runs stop sign

Police say woman struck car, then that car crashed into garage


SAN ANTONIO – Two people are in the hospital after a woman ran a stop sign, struck a car and sent in crashing through a fence and into a garage.

It happened around 10 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of N. Walters and Runnels Ave. on the eastside.

According to police, a woman ran a stop sign and hit another car traveling south on Walters.

That car then jumped the curb, crashed through a fence and ended up inside a detached garage.

EMS transported the driver and one passenger to a hospital for treatment, but their injuries are not severe.
