SAN ANTONIO – A major water line break on the city's Westside kept crews busy Saturday night.
It happened around 5:00 p.m. off of Bradford road.

Neighbors said when the line busted in an alley behind Bradford Street, it caused water to flow through several yards, under their homes and to the street.
Crews had to shut the water off for a couple of hours as they worked to fix the line.
San Antonio Water Systems officials said Saturday's problem stemmed from a break in an 8-inch pipe, but at about 9:30 p.m., crews were able to fix the problem and restore water to the homes.
SAWS officials also said the heat is what caused Saturday's line break and that their crews have been all over town, repairing lines that have busted due to the heat.
"It's real flooded out there," said Alice Medina, who lives on Bradford.
"It's going towards the street. It's going down the street. We don't know what to do."
Medina said this has happened before, but SAWS could not confirm that as of Saturday night.
