SAN ANTONIO – An overnight police chase ended on the southwest side when the suspects crashed and officers hurried to make arrests.

Police say that chase started when the suspects' car ran over an officer's foot.

It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday.

Police say an officer pulled over a vehicle for a routine traffic stop, but as he walked up to the car the driver took off and ran over the officer's foot.

The officer chased the suspects south on Loop 410 access road.

They say the car turned down an alley in the 6700 block of SW Loop 410.

The suspect driver then drove onto a guide wire leaving the front of the car suspended.

Police arrested all suspects except for the driver.

They say he'll face assault on a police officer and evading arrest charges when he's caught.
