Part of Mission Reach reopens after May flooding
SAN ANTONIO – Nearly three months after May's intense flooding, a stretch of the Mission Reach reopened to the public over the weekend.
The section includes the paddling trail from Mission Road to Espada Park.
However, the paddling trail south of Mission Espada is not open for use. Officials expect it to be ready by Oct. 5.
The trails had been closed since heavy flooding hit the area on May 25.
