4 hurt in separate rollover accidents across San Antonio

1 driver arrested on suspicion of DWI

Two separate crashes on San Antonio roads left four people with injuries and a suspected drunken driver in jail.

SAN ANTONIO – Four people were hurt and a man was arrested on suspicion of DWI after two separate crashes on San Antonio roads.

The first rollover happened around 10 p.m. Sunday at Loop 1604 and Blanco Road.

The driver of a pickup truck told police he was speeding when he lost control and went up an embankment. The truck rolled over and crashed on its roof.

Two people were able to get out on their own, but a third passenger suffered head trauma, police said.

The driver was also treated for injuries before he was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

A second rollover accident happened around 2:45 a.m. Monday at Southcross and Goliad.

Police said two drivers were going opposite directions on Southcross when they collided and one driver's SUV rolled over. Both drivers were treated at the scene for minor injuries. Charges were unknown.
