Man stabbed in neck outside convenience store

Victim airlifted to University Hospital in critical condition

An argument on the south side sends one man to the hospital. The suspect is still on the run.

SAN ANTONIO – A man was hospitalized in critical condition after he was stabbed in the neck on the South Side.

San Antonio police said the stabbing took place at approximately 7:15 p.m. at the Commercial Express in the 3700 block of Commercial.

Police said the victim and an unidentified male were fighting when the unknown male's girlfriend stabbed the victim in the neck.

The couple fled the scene and were last seen driving a grey suburban. The victim was taken to University Hospital for treatment.
