SAN ANTONIO – Residents of a South Side apartment complex are credited with saving a kitten that somehow became stuck inside a wall.
Lori Sauceda and her sister became alarmed after they heard the small kitten crying Monday afternoon.

They called called everyone from Animal Care Services to 311 and police, but were not able to get any immediate help.
They finally got a hold of an apartment maintenance man who cut open a hole in the wall and freed the kitten.
Residents initially thought there were several kittens, but it turned out to be just one. It was unclear how the kitten ended up inside the wall.
