SAN ANTONIO – Two children were injured and a horse was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck Tuesday morning in south Bexar County.
According to sheriff's deputies, a man was driving in the 22000 block of Mathis Road when he encountered three loose horses at the top of a hill.

The man didn't have time to stop and hit and killed one of the horses.
Two children who were passengers in the pickup suffered head injuries and were taken to Mission Trail Baptist Hospital for treatment.
The children are expected to be OK.
