No injuries were reported and all employees were accounted for, CPS Energy officials said.

The explosion damaged the cascade building, which feeds coal into silos before it's moved into the plant, CPS Energy officials said.

For safety reasons and to expedite the investigation, crews were in the process of taking the plant offline.

The plant is located at a 7,500-acre power station in southeast Bexar County.
