Flash Flood Watch in effect for Bexar County
Forecast calls for widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches
SAN ANTONIO – A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through 7 a.m. Saturday morning for Bandera, Bexar, Blanco, Comal, Gillespie, Hays, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, Real and Uvalde counties.
According to the KSAT 12 team of meteorologists, widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches of rain can be expected, with some isolated areas getting up to 6 inches of rain.
Heavy rain from the remnants of Hurricane Manuel and a cold front could trigger flooding of low-water crossings and other low-lying areas prone to flooding.
