5 people injured after crash on West side

Police say driver was speeding and ran a red light

SAN ANTONIO – At least five people were hurt in a crash Saturday night after police said a driver was speeding and ran a red light.

It happened at Medina Base Road and Palm Valley drive around 6:00 p.m.

Police said the driver of a silver mustang ran the red light, then crashed into a red truck, which caused the truck to roll over.

Three adults and two children were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries. Police said everyone is expected to be okay.
