Shooting leaves man in serious condition


SAN ANTONIO – Police are searching for the suspect in a shooting on the city's east side that left one man in serious condition.

The victim was found shot in the 600 block of Mittman at around noon Saturday, according to police.

When authorities arrived, they discovered the man lying on the street near the sidewalk.

At least 5 gun casings were found feet from the injured man.

Investigators spoke to witnesses but said it is unclear what caused someone to shoot the 26-year-old man.

SAPD Public Information Officer Roger Zuniga said investigators are working to piece the case together.

Zuniga told KSAT-12 they tried talking to the 26-year-old man, but he was unable to give them any information on the person responsible.

Police said they are searching for black Charger with tinted windows.
