SAN ANTONIO – A former cashier at Academy Outdoor and Sports, is accused of stealing on the job in several different ways.
San Antonio police arrested 26-year-old Lori Ann Ramirez Tuesday on a charge of theft.

According to an arrest warrant affidavit, loss prevention officers at the store discovered one scheme allegedly involving Ramirez in March and notified San Antonio police.
The affidavit stated that police learned that Ramirez was giving customers' receipts to a friend, who would then bring the receipts back to Ramirez's register and obtain a cash refund.
Later, the two would split the cash, the affidavit stated. Police said upon questioning, Ramirez admitted she also stole merchandise from the store.
