Motorcyclist sent flying after hitting curb

SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist escaped serious injury after sliding across a guardrail and landing in the middle of a road.

The accident happened Wednesday around 1:30 a.m. at the corner of South General McMullen and Kirk Place.

According to San Antonio police, the motorcyclist was exiting Highway 90 when he struck a curb and slid more than 30 feet. 

He was not wearing a helmet, but only suffered minor injuries. He was ticketed for not have a license, police said.
