Motorcyclist injured in high-speed crash

Motorcyclist helped off road by 18-wheeler driver


A motorcyclist was injured during a high-speed crash on Interstate 35 South late Monday night.

Police said the motorcyclist was speeding when he lost control of the bike around 10:30 p.m. on I-35 South at the 281 interchange.

The motorcyclist laid the bike down in the middle of the road and was helped to the shoulder by the driver of an 18-wheeler.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital and was expected to recover, police said.
