San Antonio police seek suspect in Dots robbery

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to arrest

San Antonio police have requested help from the public in an effort to identify a robbery suspect at a local Dots store.

According to investigators, the man pictured here broke a locked glass door at the Dots store located at 2720 SW Military at around 9:30 p.m. on Oct. 1.

Police said that man then allegedly approached an employee who was next to a cash register, and demanded money. The suspect became angry and told the employee he had a gun. Fearing for her safety, the employee told investigators she quickly handed the man the store's money box.

The suspect took the box and ran away, heading south on Yarrow Boulevard toward IH-35.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest. The number to call is (210) 224-STOP (224-7867). Callers may remain anonymous.
