Man sought in bank robbery in north San Antonio

San Antonio police identify suspect as Andrew Rios, 29


San Antonio police issued an arrest warrant for a man they say robbed a bank on the North Side last week.

According to SAPD, Andrew Rios, 29, robbed the Frost Bank in the 11900 block of Blanco Road last Thursday afternoon.

Police said Rios handed the teller a note demanding money then jumped over the counter. He led the teller to the back of the bank where he filled a bag with money and fled.

Police said no injuries were reported. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Andrew Rios is asked to call San Antonio Crime Stoppers at 210-224-STOP. There could be a reward for information that leads to an arrest.
