SAN ANTONIO – Our Lady of the Lake University says its interim executive vice president and chief academic officer has resigned his positions.
"The university is making great strides," said Dr. Robert Bisking. "I am proud to have played a leadership role in its advancement, however in order to allow that momentum to continue I have made this decision in the best interest of the university."
In an audio recording posted on YouTube, Bisking was heard making racial remarks about students and faculty.
"I respect Bob's decision to step down as interim executive vice president and chief academic officer," said University President Sister Jane Ann Slater. "His service to OLLU in these roles has been focused on the improvement of our programs, enrollment growth, and continued student success. I want to thank him for his service as the interim executive vice president and chief academic officer."
Police said they are now investigating the recordings.
