SAN ANTONIO – The Northside Independent School District is looking to hire bus drivers.
The district will hold a job fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the Culebra Transportation Station, 7001 Culebra Road, located inside Culebra at Loop 410.

According to a statement issued by the district, they are looking to fill 150 positions for bus drivers.
Starting pay for bus drivers is $11.97 per hour and drivers work up to 32 hours per week based on availability.
Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, retirement, paid training, and 10 paid holidays.
Uniforms are provided and there are job opportunities at multiple geographic locations within Northside ISD.
Interviews will be conducted on-site at the job fair for those who have completed their online application.

According to the district, you must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or GED and no record of DWI or convictions for the past 10 years and acceptable driving record according to the Texas Department of Public Safety standards (driving record will be verified)
References are required, one of which must be a current or immediate past supervisor. Friends and relatives should not be used as references.
Candidates must also successfully complete a physical examination, drug test, fingerprinting and criminal background check.
