A woman fell asleep behind the wheel and crashed into sand barrels on the highway.
It happened around 11 p.m. Monday in the 1700 block of IH-35 South in the northbound lanes.

According to police, the woman fell asleep while driving near the upper- and lower-level split and crashed into sand barrels there.
The woman was not injured, but her car was heavily damaged.
