Man left "suffering" after alleged hit and run
SAPD asking for assistance in locating suspect
San Antonio Police are asking for assistance in locating a suspect in a violent hit and run on the Northwest side of town.
Frank "Roger" Trevino, 63, was found lying on the side of the road in the 400 block of Morning Glory, between West Summit and Beverly, around 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 23.
Officer said Trevino was walking home from St. Paul's Catholic Church when it happened.
Trevino suffered a broken collar bone, five broken ribs, a fractured soldier, and head trauma, which resulted in swelling on the brain.
Officers said the street where he was found is not a major thoroughfare, and it's believed someone in the neighborhood may have information to help track down a suspect in the hit and run.
Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person responsible for failing to stop and render aid to Trevino.
The number for Crime Stoppers is 210-224-STOP (7867). You do not need to leave your name when you call.
