Bexar County remains under freeze warning until 9 a.m. Thursday

Cold temperatures expected to move out of area by Thursday evening

A freeze warning remains in effect across Bexar County until 9 a.m. Thursday.

The warning was issued Wednesday for parts of South Central Texas generally along Interstate 35 from Austin to San Antonio south to Interstate 10, and extending west to the Hondo area.

Temperatures as of 6 a.m. Thursday were in the low 30s across San Antonio, but the cold front was expected to move out of the area throughout the day Thursday.

KSAT Weather Authority Meteorologist Mike Osterhage expects a high Thursday of 63 with temperatures dropping slightly to 58 by 10 p.m.
