Police searching for suspects in 2 separate robberies

Police are searching for several suspects involved in two separate robberies.

The first robbery happened around 11:45 p.m. Friday at the Stop and Go mart in the 5500 block of  South New Braunfels.

According to police, three suspects dressed in black walked into the convenience store with handguns and demanded money.

The suspects fled on foot to an apartment complex across the street.

No word on how much the suspects stole, but police say they took a box of knives with them too.

The second robbery happened around 1:20 a.m. Saturday at the Las Brazas Mexican Restaurant in the 2500 block of Vance Jackson.

According to police, five men walked into the restaurant with guns and demanded money from employees and customers.

Afterwards, the suspects fled on foot.

No word on how much the suspects stole.
