According to an arrest warrant, the three suspects were given up by one of their friends who was also involved in the crimes.

The robberies the three are charged with all took place between Dec. 7 and Dec. 11.

Police say 20-year-old Fernando Marroquin was involved in three of the robberies. Detectives allege Marroquinn robbed a Wingstop on Southwest Military on Dec. 7. Marroquin showed a gun and demanded money and then took off.

Three days later police said he robbed another Wingstop on West Avenue.

On the same night, police said he was joined by 20-year-old Jonathan Vasquez and 19-year-old Alberto Marroquin when they held up a Shell gas station in the 4400 block of West Avenue.

According the arrest warrant, police located the car the three men were in after that robbery and initiated a traffic stop.

During that stop the three men fled on foot, but officers managed to capture the driver of the car who later identified the other suspects and informed detectives they were involved in several crimes.

Police say there may be more suspects involved. "The robbery detectives are always working hard to try to solve these crimes and put these people in jail, and if anybody has any information about any of these crimes, even if they think it's not important, please call police," said SAPD officer Roger Zuniga.

All three men are now charged with aggravated robbery with a weapon.
