Part of Museum Reach Trail closing temporarily

Indefinite closures begin March 3

The east bank of the River Walk along the Museum Reach hike and bike trail will be closing beginning Monday, March 3.

The temporary closure is due to construction at Pearl. The closed portions run from Pearl Park and Amphitheater stage through Camden Street.

People traveling south on the trail from Pearl are advised by the San Antonio River Authority to cross the river at the turning basin footbridge near Grayson Street to continue south on the trail. They then can cross back over the river at the Roy Smith Street pedestrian bridge.

Those traveling north on the trail from downtown are advised to cross over the river at the Roy Smith Street pedestrian bridge to continue north to the turning basin footbridge near Grayson Street, where they can then cross back over the river.

A map has been made available on the San Antonio River Authority's website detailing the closure.
