Cargo aircraft transported on I-10 to Camp Bullis

C-130 retired from service

Traffic slowed to a crawl on I-10 Sunday morning as a retired C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft was transported from Kelly Field at Join Base San Antonio- Lackland to Camp Bullis.

The retired aircraft was partially disassembled at Kelly Field and will be set up on Camp Bullis as a training tool for military medics.

The move took more than three hours on Sunday morning after the plane's carrier convoy departed JBSA-Lackland around 7:30 a.m.

The slow-moving aircraft made its way to Camp Bullis without any problems.
