Two people and a toddler were injured when a truck struck a pole on the West Side Sunday evening.

The accident occurred around 6:30 p.m. at Rivas and Navidad streets.

San Antonio police said one of the passengers fled the scene of the crash and left another passenger, the driver and 2-year-old child behind.

They were all transported to University Hospital with unknown injuries.

San Antonio police said the driver was a teenager and will most likely be charged with failure to identify to police and injury to a child because the toddler was not properly restrained.

Police have not said if they caught the passenger that fled after the crash.
