A woman is facing a long list of charges after Bexar County sheriff's deputies said she crashed into a pair of cars and led a deputy on chase.
The incident began around 3 a.m. Tuesday when the woman allegedly rear-ended a vehicle just north of downtown at Myrtle Street and McCullough Avenue and fled the scene.
Bexar County officials said a deputy spotted the woman a few blocks from the crash driving with no head lights.
The deputy attempted to pull the woman over, but she refused to stop and led the deputy on a chase from Interstate 35 to Interstate 10 and over to Culebra Road before she crashed into another vehicle near 18th Street, sheriff's deputies said.
BCSO investigators said the woman faces several charges that include hit-and-run, evading arrest, driving while intoxicated, fleeing the scene of a crash and refusing to stop and render aid.
Sheriff's deputies said no one was reportedly injured. The woman's name has not been released, but officials said she is in her 20s.
