A San Antonio high school principal has been placed on paid leave more than a month after he was pulled over and arrested on a drunken driving charge.

A spokesman for the San Antonio Independent School District confirmed Tuesday that their Human Resources Department placed Brackenridge High School Principal Moises Ortiz on paid leave Monday while the district conducts a personnel review.

Ortiz was pulled over in his personal vehicle by San Antonio police on Feb. 13.

Ortiz has been the principal of Brackenridge High School for three years and has been with district for the past 16 years.
