Men sought in violent home invasion

SAPD: 2 men claim to be police, tie woman up in her home

San Antonio police are searching for two men in connection with a violent home invasion on the city's southeast side.

Police investigators said it happened around 8 a.m. on Thursday in the 200 block of Pennystone.

Police say a woman heard a knock at the door and then two men claiming to be police.

When she opened the door, the men forced their way inside, police said, and demanded to know where her boyfriend was.

When she tried to yell, they tied her hands and feet.

A neighbor, who did not want to be identified, said she heard the woman's screams.

"I did the most craziest thing that I hope nobody ever does: I came to the (woman's) front (door and) rang the doorbell to see if everything was OK," the neighbor said.

Police say the men then took the woman's car keys and took off in a 2006 black Nissan Maxima.

Police searched from the air and on the ground, but were unable to locate the men or the car.
