The San Antonio Police Department plans to file charges against Steve-O of the MTV show "Jackass" for his back flip off the Commerce Street Bridge.
In an email sent Thursday to KSAT 12 News, SAPD spokeswoman Sandy Gutierrez said, "charges will be filed at large against the suspect involved in this incident for deadly conduct - Texas Penal Code 22.05 and swimming in the San Antonio River prohibited - City of San Antonio Ordinance Sec. 22.87."
Steve-O jumped 30 feet from the bridge into the four-feet deep river last week while he was in town performing at a local comedy club.
Steve-O was not hurt, but he said on his Facebook page he could have been injured because the city has no signs posted warning people not to jump.
