Police: Man faces several charges

A man who was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication will face an added charge after San Antonio police say he damaged a patrol car with his head.

SAPD officers arrested the man around 2 a.m. Tuesday and began to transport him in the patrol unit.

Police were headed down Pleasanton Road when the man became upset and began to strike the door with his head repeatedly, officials said.

Police said the man hit the door with so much force, he bent the door frame. Police then transported him in another unit.

Police say he would be charged with public intoxication and faces charges for damaging a police car.
