In-N-Out Burger to open in Windcrest

The City of Windcrest has announced plans to open a popular California chain restaurant In-N-Out Burger.

According to a spokesperson for the City of Windcrest, the building services, fire inspector, water district and city engineer, Leonard Young, approved and released the plans Friday for the issuance of the building permit.

The fast-food restaurant is expected to open later this year and will be located off Interstate 35 North and Walzem Road, where Frost Bank was previously located.

Another restaurant is scheduled to open first at Culebra Road near Loop 1604.
