Fight between roommates leads to cutting, stabbing

San Antonio police investigate stabbing on Thorain Boulevard

Two people were hospitalized Monday evening when an argument between roommates turned violent on the Northwest Side.

San Antonio police responded to a disturbance in the 1600 block of Thorain Boulevard around 8 p.m.

Investigators said the roommates, both between 35 and 40 years old, got into a fight and one ran to the landlord's house while the other gave chase.

Both men continued to fight and the landlord attempted to breakup the pair, but was cut in the hand by the second roommate who was allegedly carrying a knife, police said.

Police said the second roommate then turned the knife on himself. The other roommate was not injured, according to SAPD officials. Police did not immediately say if charges would be filed.
